In 1985 werd ik als nieuweling Nederlands kampioen puntenkoers in Oudenbosch.
In 1986 werd ik in Apeldoorn opnieuw Nederlands kampioen puntenkoers.
In 1987 werd ik 3e op het NK achtervolging in Alkmaar (tenzij ik me in de jaartallen vergis - ik zou het moeten opzoeken).
Ik reed niet graag achtervolgingen, en dit moest van coach Eric Geserick toen we het NK in Alkmaar reden waar ik 2e werd in de puntenkoers achter Tim Steiger.
In 1987 werd ik dus 2e op het NK puntenkoers in Alkmaar.
In 1988 werd ik inderdaad 2e op het NK puntenkoers achter Mario van Baarle.
In 1991 werd ik ook nog Nederlands kampioen 50 km op de baan in Alkmaar.
